Job summary

Peach Garden Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to support Dim Sum operations and dessert production. You will prepare Dim Sum items, sauces, and fillings, maintain SOPs, and uphold high standards of quality and hygiene in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires Mandarin proficiency to coordinate with Chefs, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task while minimising waste.

Qualifications

• Prior relevant experience in Chinese restaurant.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, outgoing personality with positive attitude.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Able to cope in fast-paced environment with heavy volume.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written) to coordinate event requirements and communicate kitchen orders accurately with the Chefs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in kitchen operations
• Handle ingredients and par supplies within Dim Sum section
• Produce all Dim Sum and dessert products
• Prepare and produce sauces and fillings for all Dim Sum products
• Prepare food products and ingredients according to SOP and standards
• Ensure high standards of food preparation, quality and consistency
• Follow proper Kitchen Standard Operating Procedures
• Minimise wastage and spoilage of ingredients and other food items
• Manage individual areas of responsibilities
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and safety
• Assist with special projects
• Perform any other job tasks assigned by the management
