Job summary

Bank of Singapore is seeking an Online Trading Area Product Owner to shape and enhance a multi-channel online trading platform for private banking clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional squads to capture evolving requirements and translate them into actionable user stories, ensuring smooth rollouts and strong adoption across front office and client teams.

You will own the backlog, drive roadmaps and metrics, and lead training and rollout activities, balancing regulatory standards

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree required; MBA advantageous.
10–15 years in business analysis, product management or junior product ownership, preferably in private banking/financial services.
Strong understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle, order management, trade execution and settlement.
Experience supporting digital investment journeys and wealth management client journeys.
Experience using product analytics, client feedback and KPIs to drive prioritization.
Ability to engage with end users and translate requirements into user stories for agile teams.
Self-driven, delivery-focused with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Collaborate with Front Office, Investment Advisory, Product Management, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Technology.
Experience in Agile with Jira/Confluence; writing user stories and acceptance criteria; willingness to adopt AI-enabled tools.
Highly organized with strategic planning and execution.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements in private banking and online trading.

Responsibilities

Own and manage the product backlog for the online trading platform with private banking clients and front office input.
Drive product value realization, roadmap execution, and prioritization aligned with business outcomes.
Refine and prioritize user stories with clear acceptance criteria for high-quality deliverables.
Translate complex trading requirements into actionable stories and technical specs with IT teams.
Lead grooming sessions, sprint planning, and ensure alignment with objectives.
Support verification testing, change management and go-live activities.
Develop training materials and deliver sessions for internal stakeholders and end-users.
Prepare rollout plans and communications to drive adoption and engagement.
Monitor feature usage and engagement metrics to drive continuous improvement.
