About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of strategic digital transformation initiatives across our Retail Banking business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale technology programs, engaging senior stakeholders, driving governance, and delivering complex digital projects within scope, budget, and schedule.

You will work closely with business leaders, technology teams, operations, compliance, and external partners to deliver innovative digital banking solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Governance

• Manage a portfolio of complex digital initiatives across business and technology functions to achieve strategic business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end project delivery for Retail Mobile Banking and Digital Banking initiatives, including project planning, budgeting, resource management, scheduling, risk management, and delivery governance.
• Develop comprehensive implementation plans by coordinating inputs from business, technology, operations, compliance, vendors, and regulators.
• Ensure project delivery meets agreed scope, timelines, budget, quality standards, and business objectives.
• Manage day-to-day project execution, including project governance meetings, working committees, and steering committee sessions.
• Monitor project progress, identify dependencies, manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure successful delivery of critical milestones.
• Develop business cases and provide strategic recommendations for technology modernization, system enhancements, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, technology risk management policies, and internal governance standards.

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business, technology, operations, compliance, and executive stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, project communications, escalations, scope changes, and conflict resolution.
• Deliver executive-level presentations, project updates, and strategic recommendations to senior management and governance committees.
• Understand dependencies across technology platforms, business operations, and regulatory requirements to ensure effective project execution.
• Own project scope, budget, timelines, risks, and resource planning while maintaining transparency with all stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align project objectives with business priorities.
• Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to minimize delivery impacts.

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of Project Management experience within Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech.
• Proven experience managing complex digital transformation initiatives from project initiation through production implementation.
• Demonstrated experience managing high-value, enterprise-scale technology projects with budgets ranging from USD 10 million to USD 20 million.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams, business users, senior executives, and external partners.
• Experience managing end-to-end project delivery, including planning, governance, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, issue management, and change management.
• Strong understanding of banking technology, digital platforms, and operational processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong presentation and business case development skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent Project Management certification.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments, including Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Backlog Grooming, and Agile ceremonies.
• Experience leading technology modernization and legacy system transformation projects.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Business Process Improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with technology risk management and banking regulatory requirements.
• Technical knowledge of enterprise applications and digital banking platforms is an advantage.
