Job summary

WEIMA BUILDERS PTE. LTD. in Serangoon, Singapore, is seeking a Digital Engineer to support digitalisation efforts, dashboards, data, and automation on a full-time on-site basis.

You will collaborate with engineers and BIM professionals to translate operations into digital solutions. Ideal candidates have a recognised degree in engineering or IT, up to 2 years’ experience in software development or data analytics, and a portfolio of digital projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics or equivalent.
• 0-2 years in software development, data analytics or digital solutions; construction experience advantageous.
• Portfolio of digital projects encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing company digitalisation initiatives.
• Support development of dashboards and digital reporting tools.
• Collect, clean and organise project data.
• Create dashboards and perform SQL queries.
• Prepare management reports and project analytics.
• Develop and maintain simple automation scripts in Python, C#.
• Support workflow automation using Power Automate and APIs.
• Extract project data from BIM models for reporting.
• Assist with cloud platform administration and documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers and BIM Coordinators to map workflows.
• Identify and pilot digital tech to reduce manual work.

Digital Support

• Assist in implementing company digitalisation initiatives.
• Support development of dashboards and digital reporting tools.
• Collect, clean and organise project data.

Dashboard Development

• Assist in creating dashboards.
• Perform SQL queries and data extraction.
• Prepare management reports and project analytics.

Programming & Automation

• Develop and maintain simple automation scripts using Python, C# or similar languages.
• Support workflow automation using: Power Automate Dynamo APIs.
• Troubleshoot and update existing scripts and workflows as required.

BIM & CDE

• Support Extract project information from BIM models or project datas for reporting and analysis.
• Assist with cloud platform/ACC/shared drive administration.
• Maintain digital records and project documentation.

Project Coordination

• Work with Project Engineers and BIM Coordinators to understand project workflows and information needed.
• Translate operational requirements into digital solutions.
• Assist in testing and deploying digital applications, including user feedback collection and basic issue tracking.

Continuous Improvement

• Research emerging digital technologies tools and features relevant to construction technologies, data and automation.
• Recommend process improvements to reduce manual work or improve data quality.
• Participate in pilot digital projects as a technical supporter, helping with data preparation, testing and documentation.

Job Requirements

Qualifications Recognised Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics or equivalent.

Experience Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Up to 2 years of experience in software development, data analytics or digital solutions. Experience in construction, BIM or CDE platforms is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates from other industries with a strong portfolio of digital projects are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills

Programming Basic proficiency in Python, C# or similar programming languages.

Understanding of Gitversion control.

Data SQL Microsoft Excel Power BI or equivalentvisualisation tools.

Digital Construction Exposure to: Autodesk ConstructionCloud (ACC) Revit BIM Common DataEnvironment (CDE) Automation Basic knowledge of: Dynamo Power Automate APIs.
