Job summary

LeapThought is seeking a passionate digital construction product specialist to join our team of product evangelists in Singapore, leading the digitalization of the built environment across Southeast Asia.

You will engage clients, demonstrate BIM and project management tools, design tailored solutions, oversee implementation, train client teams, and collaborate with architects and engineers to deliver measurable value across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in civil and structural engineering, M&E and architectural or related disciplines.
• Excellent teamwork.
• Good written and communication skills.
• Must have a good understanding of Site Management, Project Management and/or Design Management through a project life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Client Engagement and Needs Assessment: Understand client requirements and assess current construction processes for digital transformation.
• Product Knowledge and Demonstration: Demonstrate digital construction products (e.g., BIM software, project management tools).
• Solution Design and Proposal: Design customized solutions and develop detailed proposals.
• Implementation and Integration: Manage implementation plans and train client teams for new tools.
• Project Management and Monitoring: Oversee projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and monitor outcomes.
• Continuous Improvement: Gather client feedback and stay updated on digital construction trends.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work with sales, marketing, product development and technical teams.
• Documentation and Reporting: Document project plans and progress for stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Sales Support: Assist pre-sales activities and identify new business opportunities.

• Work in across-functional team consisting of product managers, software architects, software engineers, DevOps, and other specialists.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Engagement and Needs Assessment: Understand client requirements by meeting with clients to understand their specific needs and challenges. Conduct needs assessments to evaluate current construction processes and identify areas for digital transformation.
2. Product Knowledge and Demonstration: Gain in-depth knowledge of digital construction products (e.g., BIM software, project management tools, digital twins). Provide live demonstrations and presentations to clients, showcasing how the products can benefit their projects.
3. Solution Design and Proposal: Design customized solutions that align with client needs and leverage the capabilities of digital construction products. Develop detailed proposals and presentations to communicate the value of the proposed solutions.
4. Implementation and Integration: Develop and oversee the implementation plan for integrating digital products into the client's workflow. Provide training to client teams on how to use the new digital tools effectively. Ensure the digital products are seamlessly integrated with the client's existing systems and processes.
5. Project Management and Monitoring: Manage the implementation projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. Monitor the performance and impact of digital solutions, making adjustments as needed to optimize results.
6. Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Gather feedback from clients on the effectiveness of digital solutions and identify areas for improvement. Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in digital construction technologies. Suggest new tools and processes that can further enhance efficiency and productivity in construction projects.
7. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and technical teams to ensure a unified approach to client solutions. Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on project progress and address any concerns.
8. Documentation and Reporting: Document all aspects of the project implementation, including client interactions, project plans, and progress reports. Prepare regular reports for clients and internal stakeholders to track the success of digital solutions.
9. Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with the implementation of digital products. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
10. Sales Support: Assist the sales team with pre-sales activities, including attending client meetings and helping to close deals. Analyze market trends to identify potential opportunities for new business.
