Job summary

Cool Power invites applications for an Application Engineer to support our project and service operations in Singapore. You will design and configure diesel generator systems, review customer specs, and prepare technical submissions while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, commissioning support, and continuous improvement of engineering standards. A diploma or degree in mechanical/electrical engineering is required, with AutoCAD and MS

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
Experience or exposure to diesel generators is preferred; proactive learners welcome.
Solid knowledge of diesel engines, alternators, and LV/MV power systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and drawings.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with customer focus.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to sales for proposals, tenders, and inquiries.
Design and configure diesel generator systems, including engines and controls.
Review specifications and develop compliant, cost-effective solutions.
Prepare drawings, single-line diagrams, GA drawings, and schematics.
Prepare technical submissions, datasheets, calculations, and project docs.
Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams on clarifications and design changes.
Support project execution, factory testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
Maintain and improve engineering standards and documentation.
