Job summary

SPENCER OGDEN PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail engineer to support water and wastewater treatment projects in Singapore.

You will work with a team to deliver CAD/BIM drawings, equipment layouts, pipe routing and modeling with an emphasis on on-time delivery and compliance with contract specs. Candidates should have at least 3 years of engineering experience, be highly motivated under pressure, and be proficient in Navisworks, AutoCAD, Revit, and related Autodesk tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience.
• Able to work under pressure and stay motivated.
• Familiar with Google Drive, Google Meet, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, Navisworks and CAD/BIM tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare P&IDs drawing.
• Prepare Fabrication Drawing.
• Prepare Equipment Layout Drawing.
• Prepare Pipe Routing Drawing.
• Prepare Equipment Modeling Drawing.
• Perform material take off.
• Coordinate with in-house design team to meet deliverables.
• Support value engineering to reduce costs.
• Assist bid, project management and construction activities as required.
• Assist commissioning activities as required.

Job description

Essential Responsibilities:

• Together with a team of engineers, to take on detail engineering task for water and wastewater treatment plant to full fill business obligation e.g. On-time delivery, Satisfy contract specification or industrial standard and bring value to customer. Work shall include but not limited to the following:
• Prepare P&IDs Drawing
• Prepare Fabrication Drawing
• Prepare Equipment Layout Drawing
• Prepare Pipe Routing Drawing
• Prepare Equipment Modeling Drawing
• Perform material take off
• Liaison with in-house design team aboard to meet engineering deliverable.
• Perform value engineering to drive cost down.
• Support business initiative to bid and win job as required.
• Support Project Management/ Construction Team on construction activities as required.
• Support Commissioning Team on commissioning activities as required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• At least 3 years working experiences
• Highly motivated and able to work under pressure
• Familiar in Google Drive, Google Meet, MS SharePoint, MS Team, and Naviswork
• Familiar in Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, REVIT
• Ability to operate Solidwork and SAP is a plus point
