PEC PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Chemical Process Engineer with strong design experience to develop PFDs/P IDs and process basis documents for product, utility, and safety systems.

You will contribute to Hazop sessions, coordinate across disciplines, and support tender packages in an EPC environment. Independent work is valued, with teamwork essential for project success.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in process design or related chemical/oil & gas storage.
• Minimum 3 years EPC environment experience.
• Familiar with API, NFPA, NORSEK/NORSOK design codes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a team and independently with minimal guidance.
• Knowledge of hydrocarbon processing unit is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare PFD/PID for product system, utility system, fire fighting system, oily water system and vapor collection system.
• Prepare pump hydraulic calculation reports, thermal heating system reports, firefighting system calculations, surge analysis reports, etc.
• Prepare process system descriptions and process design basis documents.
• Participate in Hazop study and follow up on Hazop actions to close the Hazop action list report.
• Assist and check process design for tender/bidding packages.
• Communicate and discuss with other disciplines for the works.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by section head or lead engineer.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare Process Flow Diagram / Piping and Instrumentation Diagram for product system, Utility system, Fire fighting system, Oily water system and vapor collection system
• Prepare pump hydraulic calculation report, Thermal heating system report, firefighting system calculation report, surge analysis report etc
• Prepare process system description and process design basis documents
• Participate in Hazop study, follow up on the Hazop action list to close the Hazop action list report
• Assist and checking the process design for tender / bidding package
• To communicate and discuss with other discipline for the works.
• To perform other tasks as assigned by section head or lead engineer.

Qualification & Experience generally required

• Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in process design or technical experience in Chemical, Oil & Gas storage or LPG or LNG storage terminal is preferable
• Minimum 3 working experience in EPC environment is preferable
• Familiar with the international design codes such as API, NFPA, Norsok etc
• Strong communication skill
• Good interpersonal skill and able to work as a team
• Able to use AutoCad
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance
• Knowledge of hydrocarbon processing unit is an advantage
