EQUIPTEST ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to develop detailed drawings and 3D models, ensuring manufacturability and cost targets are met.

You will lead concept development and validate designs through mechanical tests and production readiness. The role requires proficiency in SolidWorks, 3D CAD tools, and knowledge of FMEA/GD&T/FEA, plus strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in product design and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and 3D CAD software.
• Knowledge of FMEA, GD&T, and FEA.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop detailed technical drawings and design plans per customer requirements.
• Conceptualize and design EQT products using 2D/3D CAD tools.
• Ensure designs meet specifications for functionality, manufacturability, and cost.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical testing to validate components.
• Validate final design and application prior to production.
• Identify opportunities to improve product designs and processes.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to review practices and implement improvements.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support root cause analysis and solution recommendations.
