Job summary

DL E&C CO., LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Architectural Design Coordinator to support the Senior Design Manager in overseeing architectural works and ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and LTA requirements.

You will coordinate submissions, reviews, and BIM deliverables, resolve clashes, maintain records, and assist with site coordination on building projects. Applicants should have 5+ years in design coordination or construction supervision and BIM familiarity; LTA exposure

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in architectural design coordination or construction supervision.
• LTA project experience preferred and familiarity with LTA submission/approval processes.
• Experience with building projects in a construction company is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of architectural/structural details, construction methods and design coordination.
• Familiarity with BIM and review of technical submissions and shop drawings.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Design Manager in overseeing architectural works and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, LTA requirements, standards and safety/environmental regulations.
• Coordinate and track design submissions, approvals and drawing schedules with project progress.
• Coordinate design matters with LTA, authorities, consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
• Review architectural drawings, BIM models, technical submissions and design deliverables for completeness and accuracy.
• Manage design issues relating to BIM, technical requirements, contract obligations and cost.
• Review subcontractors' shop drawings and material submissions for conformance with design and LTA requirements.
• Identify design clashes and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Monitor architectural work progress and coordinate design information required for site activities.
• Maintain design records, submission logs and document control per project procedures.

• Coordinate and track design submissions, approvals and drawing schedules in line with the project programmed and construction progress.
• Coordinate design matters with LTA, relevant authorities, consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
• Review architectural drawings, BIM models, technical submissions and design deliverables for completeness, accuracy and coordination with others disciplines.
• Manage design issue relating to BIM, technical requirements, contract obligations and cost.
• Review subcontractors shop drawing and material submissions to confirm they meet the approved design, specifications and LTA project requirements.
• Identify design clashes, discrepancies and potential construction issues and coordinate their timely resolution.
• Monitor architectural work progress and coordinate design information required to support site activities.
• Maintain design records, submission logs and document control in accordance with project procedures.

Requirements
