Amphenol is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the development of connector solutions. You will focus on disciplined product engineering design and ensure manufacturability across teams.

You will translate customer requirements into drawings and specifications, perform analysis and DFMEA, validate designs to industry standards, and sometimes take project leadership to reconcile DFM with Process Design while driving cost reductions.

Formación

• Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of product design development experience.
• Experience in interconnects design industry preferred; senior roles require leadership in design.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAE and engineering drawing standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor/ Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or other relevant discipline
• Minimum 3 years of product design development experience with excellent grasp of Engineering and Design principles.
• Experience in interconnects design industry is desirable. Senior/Staff position requires excellent design leadership skills and relevant product life-cycle knowledge.
• Proficient with Mechanical Design, Solid Mechanics theory and its application to product design
• Familiar with CAD/CAE tool: Pro-Engineer CREO/ANSYS
• Familiar with engineering drawing standards
• Working knowledge of connector application, plastic technology, insert-molding, stamping processes is preferred
