Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2 years of experience as a Design Draftsperson.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Revit) and strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed mechanical and electrical design drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software. Ensure all designs meet project specifications and standards.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to understand design requirements and make necessary adjustments. Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for design modifications, project specifications, and technical reports.
• Review designs for accuracy and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Conduct design checks and revisions as needed.

Location: Paya Lebar

Position: Design Draftsperson

Salary: $3000 - $5000 + VB

Working hours: Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 6.00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed mechanical and electrical design drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software. Ensure all designs meet project specifications and standards.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to understand design requirements and make necessary adjustments. Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for design modifications, project specifications, and technical reports.
• Review designs for accuracy and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Conduct design checks and revisions as needed.
• Address design issues and provide solutions that enhance the functionality and efficiency of M&E systems.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in CAD or design drafting are a plus.
• 2 years of experience as a Design Draftsperson
• Proficiency in CAD software (Revit) and strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
