Job summary

Flintex Consulting in Singapore is seeking a Design Drafter to create and amend detailed instrumentation drawings and documentation for industrial projects. You will work closely with the project team to ensure drawings meet project requirements and industry standards, and you will maintain drawing libraries and assist in drafting procedures.

Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks and a Diploma/Degree in Engineering with at least 3 years' experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automation).
• At least 3 years' relevant experience.
• Able to prepare instrumental related drawings.
• Good understanding of technical documentation.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other relevant drafting tools.
• Good understanding of instrumentation systems and industrial process control (Will be a strong advantage).

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings of instrumentation systems (Pressure / Level / Temperature / Flow) as per project requirement.
• Ensure that all drawings are accurate, adhere to company standards, and comply with relevant industry codes and regulations.
• Update and maintain drawing libraries, ensuring that all revisions are tracked and documented.
• Review and ensure accuracy of all drafted documentation before submission.
• Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure that all deliverables meet customer and project requirements.
• Preparation, consolidation, and proper maintenance of project documentation
• Assist in the development of project-specific standards and procedures for drafting and documentation.

The Design Drafter is responsible for creating / amending detailed technical drawings and documentation for instrumentation systems in industrial projects. The role requires close collaboration with Project team and other stakeholders to ensure that all instrumentation drawings, documentation, and specifications meet project requirements and industry regulatory standards.
