Job summary

FLINTEX CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Design Drafter to create and amend detailed technical drawings for instrumentation systems in industrial projects.

You will collaborate with project teams to ensure drawings, documentation, and specifications meet project requirements and regulatory standards. The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and a strong understanding of instrumentation systems and industrial process control.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering or its equivalent
• At least 3 years' relevant experience
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other drafting tools
• Good understanding of instrumentation systems and industrial process control
• Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Able to prepare instrumental related drawings

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings of instrumentation systems (Pressure / Level / Temperature / Flow)
• Ensure all drawings are accurate, adhere to company standards, and comply with industry codes
• Update and maintain drawing libraries, with revisions tracked
• Review accuracy of all drafted documentation before submission
• Participate in QA processes to ensure deliverables meet requirements
• Prepare, consolidate, and maintain project documentation
• Assist in development of project-specific drafting standards and procedures
• Provide polite and customer oriented service

Job Summary:

The Design Drafter is responsible for creating / amending detailed technical drawings and documentation for instrumentation systems in industrial projects. The role requires close collaboration with Project team and other stakeholders to ensure that all instrumentation drawings, documentation, and specifications meet project requirements and industry regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings of instrumentation systems (Pressure / Level / Temperature / Flow) as per project requirement.


• Ensure that all drawings are accurate, adhere to company standards, and comply with relevant industry codes and regulations.


• Update and maintain drawing libraries, ensuring that all revisions are tracked and documented.


• Review and ensure accuracy of all drafted documentation before submission.


• Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure that all deliverables meet customer and project requirements.


• Preparation, consolidation, and proper maintenance of project documentation


• Assist in the development of project-specific standards and procedures for drafting and documentation.


• To be polite and customer oriented at all times.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering or its equivalent (Mechanical / Electrical / Automation)


• At least 3 years' relevant experience.


• Able to prepare instrumental related drawings


• Good understanding of technical documentation


• Microsoft office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint.


• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other relevant drafting tools.


• Good understanding of instrumentation systems and industrial process control (Will be a strong advantage)
