Tap Growth ai in Singapore seeks a senior design coordinator for tunnel construction projects. You will coordinate structural and architectural design activities, review drawings, and ensure compliance with project requirements.

You will liaise with consultants, architects, and engineers, integrate M&E with civil works, resolve design clashes, and prepare design submissions in line with Singapore regulations and LTA standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in structural/architectural design coordination, tunnel construction or major civil projects.
• Good knowledge of structural/architectural drawings and Singapore standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; BIM/Revit/Navisworks knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication and coordination with consultants, subcontractors and project teams.

Salary Range: S$5,000 - 5,500

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage structural and architecturaldesign activities for tunnel construction and underground infrastructureprojects.
• Review and coordinate design drawings, technicalspecifications, shop drawings and construction documents to ensurecompliance with project requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, architects, ProfessionalEngineers, subcontractors and project teams to resolve design-relatedissues.
• Ensure proper coordination and integration ofstructural and architectural works with civil, mechanical and electrical(M&E) systems.
• Identify and resolve design discrepancies, clashesand technical issues to minimise construction delays and rework.
• Assist in the preparation, review and submission ofdesign drawings, method statements, technical proposals and materialsubmissions for approval.
• Coordinate with site engineers and constructionteams to ensure that design implementation aligns with approved drawingsand project specifications.
• Attend design coordination meetings, technicaldiscussions and site meetings with clients, consultants and relevantstakeholders.
• Monitor design progress, maintain drawing registersand ensure the timely issuance of updated drawings and documentation.
• Ensure all design coordination activities complywith relevant Singapore building regulations, LTA requirements, safetystandards and project quality specifications.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience instructural and architectural design coordination, preferably in tunnelconstruction, underground infrastructure or major civil engineeringprojects.
• Good knowledge of structural and architecturaldrawings, construction methodologies, design coordination and relevantSingapore construction standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.Knowledge of BIM, Revit or Navisworks will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination andproblem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively withconsultants, subcontractors and site project teams.
