Job summary

Keppel Ltd. is seeking a Technician to manage daily desalination plant operations and maintenance. You will coordinate with control room operators and engineers to ensure safe, compliant performance across all stages of the process.

The role requires troubleshooting skills, multi-tasking ability, and willingness to work overtime or shifts when needed to maintain continuous operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related water treatment or process plant maintenance experience.
• Able to perform troubleshooting and handle plant equipment.
• Able to multi-task and resolve problems on site.
• Willing to perform overtime and shift work if required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operational activities at each stage of the desalination process.
• Coordinate with control room operators and engineers to operate the plant.
• Perform O&M tasks in safety and environmental standards; ensure housekeeping.
• Assist troubleshooting of plant processes and implement improvements.
• Receive materials, verify COA, and manage inventory; conduct equipment isolation per Permit-To-Work.
• Submit daily progress reports and flag abnormalities or equipment failures.
• Assist installation fieldwork and equipment troubleshooting with supervision; flexible to take ad hoc tasks.
