Keppel Seghers Engineering Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a plant operator for daily desalination process operations, coordinating with the control room and engineers onsite.
The role involves performing maintenance, safety, and housekeeping tasks to ensure smooth plant performance. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in water treatment or process plant maintenance, with trouble shooting skills and the ability to multitask.
Responsible for the daily plant operational activities at each stage of the desalination process and its quality requirement. Operate the plant by coordinating on site with the control room operators and engineers. Perform O&M work in strict compliance with safety, environment pollution control and housekeeping. Support troubleshooting of plant processes when required. Support plant improvement initiatives and monitoring as required. Receive materials and chemicals, verify the quality of the shipment from the COA and maintain proper inventory Conduct isolation and normalization of equipment as required by the Permit-To-Work system Conduct daily check and submit daily reports on the progress of the O&M work. Report any abnormality or failure of equipment for rectification work Responsible to undertake installation fieldwork and equipment troubleshooting with minimum supervision Accept multi-tasking; willing to take on extra responsibilities to support O&M of the plant Accept ad hoc assignment given by the supervisors.
Minimum 2 years of related water treatment or process plant experience in maintenance works Able to perform trouble shooting skills & familiar with water treatment plant equipment Able to multi-task and innovative to resolve problems at site Able to perform overtime and shift work if required Knowledge of Lab Operations Process and/or Possession of Forklift License is an added incentives
