Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a Deputy Manager for 2 Collections, Receivables and Refunds to safeguard financial interests and drive timely recovery of monies owed by contractors and external parties. The role blends operational oversight with rigorous financial reporting and stakeholder management.

You will lead end-to-end collections processes, coordinate with multiple internal teams, ensure proper refunds and compliance, and push digitalisation initiatives using analytics, RPA, and AI to enhance

Qualifications

3+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, with collections/revenue management preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication, with cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
Proactive, adaptable, and capable of driving improvements independently.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP and data analytics tools.
Awareness of RPA and AI applications in finance processes.

Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end collections, billing, and recovery processes with defined intervention strategies.
Coordinate with operations, legal, and project teams to ensure timely follow-ups and documented recoveries.
Approve refunds to external parties and ensure proper accounting treatment.
Prepare month-end/year-end schedules and liaise with auditors for compliance.
Maintain governance by updating SOPs and financial regulations per SB-FRS.
Drive process improvements and digitalisation using analytics, RPA, and AI.
Produce management reports on ageing, balances, and performance to support decisions.
