Job summary

edunamics pte. ltd. seeks a Deputy Head of Early Intervention Programme (EIP) to lead the EIP operations, student support, curriculum coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

You will mentor teaching and non-teaching staff, ensure ECDA-aligned documentation, and drive programme development to deliver inclusive education for diverse learners. The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families, and a track record in supervising teams and improving learning

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Special Education/Early Intervention, including at least 3 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Experience with IEPs, student support and inclusive education practices.
• Familiarity with ECDA requirements and Early Intervention practices in Singapore is advantageous.

Job description

We are seeking a passionate and organizedDeputy Head of Early Intervention Programme (EIP) to support the leadership and operations of our EIP. The role involves overseeing student support services, curriculum coordination, parent engagement, team mentoring, and programme development to ensure high-quality inclusive education for students with diverse learning needs.

• Lead the day-to-day operations and delivery of the Early Intervention Programme (EIP), ensuring high-quality programme implementation and student support.
• Oversee student placement, class allocation, Individualised Education Plans (IEPs), progress monitoring and appropriate learning and behavioural support.
• Work closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals to support students with diverse learning needs.
• Support curriculum development, inclusive education practices and continuous improvement of the EIP.
• Build strong relationships with parents and families, providing guidance on student placement, progress and programme support.
• Lead, coach and develop teaching and non-teaching staff through regular feedback, classroom observations, performance reviews and professional development.
• Manage staffing requirements, staff deployment and recruitment in collaboration with HR.
• Ensure programme documentation, student records and reporting are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
• Ensure the programme remains aligned with relevant ECDA requirements, guidelines and standards, including required documentation, submissions and audit support.
• Support programme development, new initiatives and operational improvements as required.

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Special Education/Early Intervention, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience working with children with special needs, developmental delays or learning difficulties.
• Good understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), student support and inclusive education practices.
• Familiarity with relevant ECDA requirements and Early Intervention practices in Singapore would be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a team and collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinary professionals.
