Job summary

IDEMITSU INTERNATIONAL (ASIA) PTE. LTD. seeks a senior professional to lead feasibility studies and drive business development for green methanol projects in Singapore and across Asia.

You will collaborate with the trading division to unlock methanol trading opportunities, including grey/green methanol. The role requires deep experience in energy/chemical sectors, renewable fuels, and strong cross-border coordination with government and industry stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of working experience in the energy or chemical industry.
• Around 5 years of experience in renewable fuels, such as biofuel, green methanol trading or business development.
• Strong understanding of chemical, maritime, aviation sector and low carbon business and policy, regulation.
• Proven ability to manage cross-border projects and engage with government and industry stakeholders.
• Experience in formulating departmental strategy, leading a team.
• Fluency in English is required (ability to handle documents in English and communicate daily with colleagues and stakeholders at headquarters).
