Petron Singapore Trading Pte Ltd. is seeking a Demurrage Analyst to monitor logistics and trade execution, focusing on minimizing demurrage exposure across voyages.

You will calculate and validate despatch and demurrage under charter terms, investigate delays, liaise with traders and terminals, and develop dashboards to track costs and risk. 1–2 years in oil & gas trading operations preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years of oil & gas / commodity trading operations experience.
• Strong tanker operations knowledge and laytime calculations.
• Knowledge of global shipping logistics and terminals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor logistics management and trade execution via voyage demurrage exposure.
• Calculate demurrage/despatch per charter party agreements (Asbatankvoy).
• Investigate delays and bottlenecks causing demurrage.
• Identify demurrage-related improvements and drive resolution.
• Liaise with traders, terminals and agents to resolve disputes and settlements.
• Review, negotiate and settle demurrage claims with counterparties.
• Validate invoices against contracts and time-bar requirements.
• Track payables/receivables and ensure cost recovery.
• Develop dashboards and reports on demurrage costs and performance.
• Provide cost insights to pricing and deal structuring.
