Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience within chemicals/liquids (gas experience is a plus).
• Proven experience managing a significant portfolio of demurrage claims.
• Advanced knowledge of shipping practice and laytime, including pro-rata calculation.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the demurrage portfolio from inception through negotiation, invoicing and settlement.
• Liaise with traders and chartering on commercial strategy and settlement of claims.
• Coordinate with finance/contract admin on invoicing and overview of demurrage accounts.
