Job summary

Common Man Coffee Roasters in Singapore is seeking experienced Demi Chefs and Chef de Parties to join a fast-paced café environment. You will prepare signature brunch dishes, maintain quality and consistency, and support kitchen operations across CMCR's Anchorpoint and Joo Chiat locations.

We value passion for cooking, teamwork, and a willingness to learn. Senior roles offer leadership opportunities to guide junior teammates and ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in cafés, restaurants, or all-day dining kitchens is preferred.
• Passion for cooking and delivering quality food.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Leadership experience is an advantage for Chef de Partie positions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook CMCR's signature brunch dishes and seasonal menu items.
• Ensure every dish is served with consistency, quality, and attention to detail.
• Support daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, mise en place, cooking, and service.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and workplace safety.
• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
• Assist with stock rotation, food storage, and minimising wastage.
• For senior roles, guide junior team members and support the smooth running of kitchen operations.
