Job summary

Les Amis Holdings Pte Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Operations Manager to oversee daily kitchen functions in a Japanese restaurant. The role focuses on consistent execution and quality control of Japanese dishes, from preparation to presentation, while aligning with SOPs and the operations manual.

You will assist in ordering, stock control, and staying up to date with promotions and new menu items. This position requires basic cooking and sanitary knowledge and at least 1 year in a culinary role.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in basic culinary position.
• Basic cooking and sanitary knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to SOP to ensure consistent Japanese cuisine execution and quality.
• Prepare, cook and present Japanese dishes in line with standards.
• Assist in prep, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food.
• Stay updated with current promotions and menu items.
• Ensure supplies, equipment and work areas meet established standards.
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues to the Chef.
• Assist in accurate food ordering and stocking levels.
• Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies and ingredients.

Requirements & Competencies:

• Minimum of 1 year in basic culinary position
