Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced DeltaV Design Engineer with 7-10 years of expertise in automation and control systems. The role involves designing, configuring, and implementing Emerson DeltaV Distributed Control Systems (DCS) for pharmaceutical and life sciences manufacturing projects, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and configuration of DeltaV control strategies, graphics, and hardware layouts.
• Prepare engineering documentation including Functional Design Specifications (FDS), I/O lists, and wiring diagrams.
• Collaborate with process engineers, validation teams, and project managers to deliver compliant automation solutions.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and qualification activities.
• Troubleshoot and optimize DeltaV systems for performance and reliability.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
• 7-10 years of hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS design and configuration.
• Strong knowledge of pharma/life sciences manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with MES, PLC, and integration with DeltaV systems.
• Experience in validation, documentation, and compliance (GMP, FDA, GAMP5).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in batch automation and recipe management.
• Knowledge of industry standards (ISA-88, ISA-95).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
