Job summary

Advanced Manufacturing Tech Solutions (AMTSOL) is seeking a DeltaV Engineer to design, commission, and support DCS projects for GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing. The role focuses on DeltaV automation architecture, control strategies, library development, and field commissioning.

The candidate will work with Operations, Process, and Equipment teams, ensuring compliance with S88 and batch processes, while supporting validation and quality processes for lifecycle activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
• Designing and commissioning DeltaV DCS projects for GMP manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of Batch S88 concepts (CM, EM, Phases, Recipes, Units).
• Familiarity with automation hardware and networking technologies.
• Experience with SDLC and quality management processes in pharma.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and provide commissioning support for Pharmaceuticals DCS systems on site (Emerson DeltaV).
• Contribute to automation solution development aligning with S88 standards for the plant.
• Support day-to-day DeltaV operations and system administration.
• Assist with Validation documentation and lifecycle activities for automation systems.

We're hiring DeltaV Engineers (mid-level to technical consultant level).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design, development, and commissioning support of Pharmaceuticals DCS systems on site. Key technology will be Emerson DeltaV.
• To participate in the development and implementation of Automation solutions in line with S88 standards for the plant.
• Thorough understanding of Physical and Procedural Layer design, development and qualification.
• Work with automation team to design system architecture, Design Specification, Control Strategies, and library development.
• Supporting manufacturing operations for day today support for DeltaV system.
• Support on NC and CAPA and identification of root causes
• Continuous improvement of the system and support for Operations.
• Field commissioning of automation equipments.
• System administration and maintenance support.
• Computer system Validation and documentation support for automation systems.
• Interacting with Operations Team, Process Team, Equipment Vendors and Technology providers.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role, ideally in the Pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in the Designing and commissioning of DeltaV DCS project for GMP manufacturing site.
• Through understanding of Batch S88 standards (CM, EM, Phases, Recipes, Units etc)
• Understanding of Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical process
• Understanding of automation hardware and networking technologies
• Emerson DeltaV DCS Batch experience required
• Familiarity with SDLC and quality management processes in the pharma
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Able to manage multiple party coordination for automation information.
