Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd. is seeking an Automation Engineer to support maintenance and project activities for our Process Control Systems (DeltaV) used in API manufacturing at the Tuas facility.

The role requires 2–3 years hands-on experience in E&I and DeltaV maintenance within a cGMP environment, with a solid understanding of PLC/SCADA/DCS and strong problem-solving skills. This is a 12-month contract based in Singapore. The position is based in Tuas, Singapore.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or Controls & Instrumentation.
2–3 years hands-on experience with E&I and DeltaV maintenance in a cGMP environment.
Strong understanding of PLC/SCADA/DCS based control systems.
Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Support routine maintenance of site Process Control System.
Assist in change control programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assist in plant modifications and projects with safety and quality as priority.
Coordinate with contractors to ensure safe implementation of automation works.
Monitor Process Control Systems and infrastructure supporting operations.
Coordinate and execute computerised system validation test activities for changes.
Adhere to HSE requirements and Life Saving Rules.
Provide after-hours technical support per department requests.
