Dell Technologies is seeking a Dell Data Platform Sales Specialist to drive strategic growth across the Unstructured Data Solutions portfolio. This role is focused on engaging customers around data modernization, platform transformation, resilience, and AI readiness, while aligning Dell's capabilities to clear business outcomes.

The successful candidate will bring a disciplined, consultative sales approach and the ability to work effectively across matrixed account teams, technical stakeholders, and senior customer decision-makers. This individual will play a critical role in shaping customer strategy, progressing complex opportunities, and supporting Dell's position as a trusted advisor in enterprise data transformation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

• Drive revenue growth for Dell Data Platform and Unstructured Data Solutions across assigned accounts or territory by identifying, qualifying, and advancing opportunities through disciplined account planning, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting.
• Engage customers to understand their business objectives, technology priorities, and data-related challenges through discovery discussions, executive presentations, and solution positioning conversations.
• Position Dell's data platform strategy in a compelling, differentiated, and outcome-oriented manner while supporting the development of proposals, business cases, and commercial strategies for complex enterprise opportunities.
• Partner with account executives, specialists, solution architects, and technical teams to shape and progress strategic opportunities while building and maintaining trusted relationships with customer decision-makers, influencers, and technical stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and evolving customer requirements to strengthen sales strategy while maintaining forecasting accuracy and strong sales discipline across opportunity management processes.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in enterprise technology sales, specialist sales, or solution-based selling, with a strong background in data infrastructure, storage, cloud, analytics, or platform-related solutions. Demonstrated success in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Strong consultative selling, customer discovery, and opportunity management capabilities with the ability to communicate effectively with senior business leaders and technical stakeholders. Excellent presentation and strategic deal support skills.
• Demonstrated success working across matrixed, cross-functional sales environments with strong relationship management skills and the ability to build trusted partnerships with key stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable Requirements

• Familiarity with data platforms, data management, storage, hybrid cloud, AI and analytics environments, as well as an understanding of modern application environments, Kubernetes, and cloud-adjacent data services. Knowledge of Dell portfolio positioning and go-to-market motions is an added advantage.
• Proven experience supporting complex enterprise opportunities involving multiple stakeholders and extended sales cycles, with the ability to navigate and manage intricate deal structures to drive successful outcomes.
