Job summary

JEP ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect parts, identify defects, and ensure compliance with quality standards as per engineering drawings and work instructions.

You will remove imperfections from metal, plastic, or machined parts using hand tools and measuring instruments, and report non-conforming parts for corrective action.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with hand tools such as files, scrapers, grinders and deburring knives.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts to detect defects and verify adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Follow detailed specifications and tolerance limits to ensure product quality.
• Report damaged or non-conforming parts promptly for corrective action.
• Remove burns, sharp edges, and excess material from metal, plastic, or machined parts to meet quality requirements.
• Use hand tools such as files, scrapers, grinders, and deburring knives to finish parts accurately.
• Operate measuring instruments like calipers and gauges to verify part dimensions.
• Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions to guide inspection and finishing tasks.
