You will operate handheld and angle grinders, polish parts to drawing specifications, inspect quality, and maintain tools. Overtime may be required in a metalworking factory environment.

• Able to handle metal components and perform repetitive grinding and finishing work.

• Willing to work overtime when required.

Aufgaben

• Perform surface grinding and finishing to remove burrs and weld marks.
• Operate handheld and angle grinders to smooth metal surfaces.
• Grind and polish components per drawings and quality requirements.
• Inspect finished parts for surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
• Select appropriate grinding wheels and abrasive discs for different components.
• Assist with deburring, cleaning and preparation for painting or assembly.
• Identify and report surface defects or quality issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain grinding tools and equipment in good condition.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Keep a clean and organized workspace and perform other production duties.

Jobbeschreibung

1. Perform surfacegrinding and finishing of metal components to remove burrs, sharp edges, weldmarks and surface irregularities.

2. Operate handheldgrinders, angle grinders and other metal finishing tools to smooth and finishmetal surfaces.

3. Grind and polishmetal components according to engineering drawings, work instructions and quality requirements.

4. Inspect finishedmetal parts to ensure proper surface finish and dimensional accuracy.

5. Use appropriategrinding wheels, abrasive discs and finishing tools for different metalcomponents.

6. Assist withdeburring, cleaning and preparation of metal parts for further processing,painting or assembly.

7. Identify and reportsurface defects or quality issues to the supervisor.

8. Maintain grindingtools and equipment in good working condition.

9. Follow workplacesafety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

10. Maintain a clean andorganised working area and perform other production duties as assigned.
