Frencken Mechatronics in Singapore seeks a meticulous Deburring and Polishing Operator to join a precision manufacturing team. You will deburr and polish components to meet high-quality standards, requiring excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail for intricate parts.

The role emphasizes reading engineering drawings, following work instructions, and collaborating with engineers and QA to ensure consistent output and quality compliance.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in deburring and polishing, preferably in the precision manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in deburring and polishing techniques, strong attention to detail and manual dexterity, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deburring: remove burrs from precision components using various tools and techniques and ensure surfaces are smooth.
• Polishing: achieve required finish and surface quality with or without magnification using specified tools.
• Quality Control: inspect deburred and polished components for defects and document inspection results.
• Process Documentation: maintain up-to-date documentation of deburring and polishing processes and work instructions.
• Equipment Maintenance: ensure deburring and polishing equipment is maintained and calibrated; report issues.
• Collaboration: work with engineers, QA, and production to ensure smooth processes and high-quality output.
