Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in deburring and polishing, preferably in the precision manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in deburring and polishing techniques, strong attention to detail and manual dexterity, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deburring: remove burrs from precision components using various tools and techniques and ensure surfaces are smooth.
• Polishing: achieve required finish and surface quality with or without magnification using specified tools.
• Quality Control: inspect deburred and polished components for defects and document inspection results.
• Process Documentation: maintain up-to-date documentation of deburring and polishing processes and work instructions.
• Equipment Maintenance: ensure deburring and polishing equipment is maintained and calibrated; report issues.
• Collaboration: work with engineers, QA, and production to ensure smooth processes and high-quality output.

Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous Deburring and Polishing Operator to join our precision manufacturing team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deburring and polishing components to ensure they meet high-quality standards for detailed work. This role requires excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work with intricate components.

Key Responsibilities

• Deburring: Perform deburring of precision components using various tools and techniques. Ensure all burrs are removed and surfaces are smooth.
• Polishing: Polish components to achieve the required finish and surface quality with / without magnification. Use polishing tools as specified.
• Quality Control: Inspect deburred and polished components for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. Document inspection results and report any non-conformities.
• Process Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of deburring and polishing processes, including work instructions and inspection records.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that deburring and polishing equipment, are properly maintained and calibrated. Report any equipment issues to the maintenance team.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure smooth deburring and polishing processes and high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in deburring and polishing, preferably in the precision manufacturing industry.
• Skills:
