Job summary

Platinum Credit Pte Ltd is seeking a young, driven Debt Recovery & Investigation Officer to join our team. This is not a desk-bound admin role; you will engage in investigation, negotiation, persistence and commercial judgement to recover outstanding payments.

You will locate borrowers through lawful means, communicate effectively and develop practical strategies for difficult recovery cases, including field visits when needed.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Experience in credit control, collections, banking, finance, property or customer negotiation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Following up on overdue accounts and outstanding repayments.
• Communicating with borrowers to understand non-payment reasons and negotiate repayment arrangements.
• Investigating and locating borrowers using lawful and professional methods.
• Conducting field visits to borrowers' residences or workplaces when appropriate.
• Gathering and verifying information relevant to debt recovery.
• Developing practical strategies to resolve difficult recovery cases.
• Maintaining accurate records of all recovery activities and follow-ups.
• Working with management to determine the recovery approach for different cases.
• Following up persistently until cases are resolved.
