Job summary

Yokogawa Engineering Asia PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer to grow service business, protect installed base, and achieve budgeted order intake and gross profit.

You will review customer modification requests, coordinate quotations with service operations, pursue maintenance contract renewals, and collaborate with 3rd party vendors to upsell solutions while handling high volumes of quotes and ensuring smooth order handover to operations.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with Yokogawa DCS and/or Prosafe-RS engineering.
• Understand DCS IO full loop configuration requirements (IO module/cable type & length/Terminal Board).
• Understand DCS control drawings, logic & graphics; basic experience with Prosafe-RS, Exa Solution packages & Networking.
• Able to study End-user/EPC requirements and estimate technical efforts.
• Understand the fundamentals of Cybersecurity solutions.

Responsibilities

• To achieve assigned budget for Order Intake/ Sales Turnover/Gross Profit.
• To develop and grow service business, as well as, to protect Yokogawa system/solution installed base in Singapore.
• Review customers’ service modification requests and work closely with service operations to generate quotations.
• Maintenance contract sales pursuit and renewal. Timely renewal of the back-to-back support with YHQ / 3rd party vendors.
• Proactively work with supporting departments/ 3rd party vendors to identify new opportunities to expand installed base.
• Collaborate with various Departments/ 3rd party vendors to generate solutions to meet customers’ requirements/ upsell offerings.
• To manage high volume of quotation requests and turnaround in short notice.
• Process order booking and proper handover to operations team
