Job summary

ITCAN PTE. LIMITED is seeking a Technical Talent Specialist to manage L1/L2 Windows administration, backup/storage tasks, and hardware support across multiple locations. The role requires coordinating with technical teams and ensuring backup integrity daily.

The position involves supervising third-party vendors in secured data center areas, handling tape rotations, and maintaining accurate physical records of onsite and offsite movements. Shift work and mobility across locations are expected.

Qualifications

• L1/L2 Windows administration knowledge.
• L1/L2 Backup and Storage administration knowledge.
• Provide Hands & Eye support to Technical Teams for the hardware issues.
• Willing to work in Shifts and work at different locations depending on the allocation.

Responsibilities

• Daily tasks such as ensuring backups are completed.
• Ejecting tapes from a library and inserting scratch tapes.
• Supervising 3rd party vendors and alike in secured areas like Data Centers.
• Maintaining physical records of tape movement and onsite/offsitings.

• L1/L2 Backup and Storage administration knowledge
• Provide Hands & Eye support to Technical Teamsfor the hardware issues
• Willing to work in Shitfs and work at differentlocations depending on the allocation.
• Daily tasks such as making sure backups completed
• Ejecting tapes from a library and inserting scratch tapes
• Supervising the 3rd party vendors and alike in the Secured areas like Data Centers.
• Keeping track of Onsiting/offsiting tape rotations. Maintaining physical records of tape movement.
• Phone and Email etiquette is a must.
• Physical Server health check.
• Prepare the backup success/failure reports.
