Job summary

PCS SECURITY PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a DC Inventory Technician to support regional and global teams. You will perform assigned tasks, coordinate warranty claims, process failed vendor hardware, and manage RMAs in line with SLAs.

The role requires basic hardware knowledge, strong English communication, and the ability to handle physical tasks including inventory tracking, data management, and compliance with security policies.

Qualifications

• ITE Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in IT /Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in written and oral English to support the regional and global teams.
• Able to perform physical tasks including frequent walking, lifting, and working at heights, with or without assistance.
• More than 2 years of relevant DC environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks and escalation based situations.
• Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claim and process failed vendor hardware devices. This includes information processing, packaging, shipment, and receipt of return for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) devices following all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) related to RMA warranty process.
• Maintains a strong focus to understand the impact of their work when completing tickets and assigned inventory and Asset Management (IAM) tasks.
• Maintains and steward up-to-date and accurate logical information within various inventory management systems (e.g., configuration management databases, asset management repositories).
• Ensures detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.
• Help to reconcile and report inventory discrepancies.
• Performs destruction of data bearing devices (DBD) following all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Microsoft policies as necessary.
• Escalates any issues or notifies management about ordering stock shortages when necessary.
• Comply with security and data management policies.
