Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking an on-site IT support specialist to assist with deploying and maintaining data center hardware and cabling. The role involves handling HDDs/SSDs and working within a ticket-based support environment.

You'll participate in shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks with the DIAT during peak periods, and rely on your basic cabling skills and CompTIA certifications to troubleshoot issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT/Engineering or related field.
• CompTIA A+/Server+/Network+ certifications desirable.
• Basic structured cabling knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment of on-site data center physical infrastructure.
• Install, replace, and troubleshoot hardware and cabling.
• Handle data-bearing devices (e.g. HDDs, SSDs).
• Work within a ticket-based support environment.
• Move equipment using pallet jacks or assisted lifting tools.
• Assist the DIAT with shipping, receiving, and inventory during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Datacenter Inventory and Asset Management Team (DIAT) with shipping, receiving, and inventory during peak periods.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Engineering or related discipline
• CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+)
• Basic Structured Cabling (BSC)

Work Location: North/West
