Job summary

Qualifications

• ITE/Nitec or diploma in IT/Computer Eng./equivalent.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Able to perform physical tasks including walking, lifting, and working at heights.
• Over 2 years in a DC environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks and escalate issues during high-volume activity or escalations.
• Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims and process failed vendor hardware.
• Process returns for RMAs following SLAs.
• Maintain and understand impact of work on tickets and IAM tasks.
• Keep inventories and CMDB/asset repos up-to-date.
• Ensure accurate physical inventory tracking and staging.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and report them.
• Destroy data-bearing devices per SLAs and policies.
• Escalate shortages to management when needed.
• Comply with security and data management policies.

• More than 2 years of relevant DC environment

Job Description:

• Perform assigned tasks and escalated issues during high-volume work activity or escalation based situations.
• Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claim and process failed vendor hardware devices. This includes information processing, packaging, shipment, and receipt of return for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) devices following all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) related to RMA warranty process.
• Maintains a strong focus to understand the impact of their work when completing tickets and assigned inventory and Asset Management (IAM) tasks.
• Maintains and steward up-to-date and accurate logical information within various inventory management systems (e.g., configuration management databases, asset management repositories).
• Ensures detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.
• Help to reconcile and report inventory discrepancies.
• Performs destruction of data bearing devices (DBD) following all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Microsoft policies as necessary.
• Escalates any issues or notifies management about ordering stock shortages when necessary.
• Comply with security and data management policies.
