Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Day 2 Software Engineer in Singapore to ensure smooth operation of software post-deployment. You will troubleshoot configurations, performance, and integrations, fix bugs, and maintain thorough documentation.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold high quality and reliability and may participate in 24/7 standby and OT/shift roles as needed. The role emphasizes hands-on debugging, proactive performance monitoring, and strong communication to support

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2-5 years of relevant professional working experience.
Proven experience in software development and bug fixing.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
Familiarity with software configuration management and performance monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

End-to-End Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix issues related to software configuration, performance, and integration.
Bug Fixing: Identify, analyse, and resolve coding bugs.
App Configuration Management: Review and update app configurations for optimal performance and compatibility.
Integration Support: Resolve integration issues with other systems and platforms.
Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of issues, solutions, and best practices.
Collaboration: Work with development, QA, and support teams to ensure seamless operation.
