Job summary

Exasoft in Singapore is seeking a seasoned observability engineer to manage and optimize the Datadog platform across APM, logs, metrics, and tracing. You will design dashboards, alerts, service maps, and custom monitoring solutions to ensure reliable services and clear visibility.

You will implement APM, distributed tracing, RUM, log analytics, and synthetic monitoring; define KPIs, SLIs, and SLOs, and integrate Datadog with incident tools like ServiceNow, PagerDuty, and OpsGenie.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology or equivalent.
• 5-8 years of experience in monitoring, infrastructure, or application support.
• 3+ years of hands-on Datadog experience across APM, Logs, Metrics, RUM, and Synthetics.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of observability principles including metrics, logs, and traces.
• Experience with Terraform and ITIL processes is an advantage.
