Job summary

Ministry Of Social And Family Development (ECDA) is seeking a data-focused professional to join the Data Team within the SOE Pillar. You will support data strategy, governance, and analytics to enable evidence-based decisions across divisions.

You will work with DGO, IT vendors and policy teams to manage the ECDA data repository, build dashboards, and develop processes to monitor KPIs and operational performance.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in business analytics, data science, engineering, applied mathematics or statistics.
• Experience in data management, analytics or related fields is required.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau or Databricks is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data strategy initiatives and governance for ECDA.
• Build thematic/operational dashboards and analytics for divisions.
• Manage the Early Childhood Datamart (ECDM) datasets and data quality.
• Investigate data issues using SQL, Python or related tools and coordinate with IT.
