Job summary

The Ministry of Digital Development and Information is seeking a dynamic professional to lead data governance policy and capability development across the public sector. You will drive cross‑agency collaboration and shape strategic initiatives to elevate data as a national asset.

Ideal candidates will have experience in policy, strategic planning, and leading multi‑disciplinary teams within the Public Service, with a strong focus on data governance and workforce development.

Qualifications

Experience in policy and strategy development for public sector initiatives.
Strong background in strategic planning and data governance policies.
Proven track record leading multi‑stakeholder projects and cross‑agency collaborations.
Experience as a functional lead or line supervision in government contexts.
Training and workforce development experience to uplift public sector capabilities.
Ability to build capability frameworks and career progression pathways.
Demonstrated leadership of teams, including mentoring and guiding officers.
Familiarity with industry development activities and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Refresh and implement data governance strategies and policies across the public sector.
Lead capability development initiatives and design training roadmaps for the public service workforce.
Collaborate with agencies to identify data governance challenges and co‑develop solutions for government learning.
Shape career pathways and progression plans to attract and retain talent in the public service.
