Job summary

Shift Technology in Singapore is offering a full-time, on-site Data Science internship for six months starting January or February 2027. The role focuses on building data processing pipelines, data cleaning, information extraction, and calibrating fraud detection models.

You'll collaborate with clients to tailor solutions, conduct R&D in machine learning, NLP, image analysis, and trend analysis, and present findings to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or final-year student in Mathematics, Statistics, Software Engineering, Data Science or Machine Learning.
• Experience in object-oriented programming and production-quality code; C# is a plus.
• Strong understanding of statistics and machine learning concepts; able to explain results to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and deploying data processing pipelines (batch/real-time), data cleaning, extraction, and model calibration.
• Collaborate with clients to understand needs and incorporate feedback to improve solutions.
• Conduct R&D in machine learning, NLP, image analysis, trend analysis, and related areas.
