Job summary

SAP Singapore is offering a university credit-bearing internship in machine learning research. You will work in fast-paced projects applying software engineering to build and prototype ML models, with opportunities to deploy solutions for large-scale use.

The internship runs 3–6 months, full-time (5 days/week), starting January 2027 and concluding around June 2027. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in CS/EE/IT, with Python and ML frameworks and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• You are currently studying for a degree in: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields
• Independent learner with a strong interest in machine/deep learning and related frameworks (Tensorflow, Keras, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills: oral, written, and in presentations
• Hands-on experience in programming languages such as Python
• Background in basic machine learning techniques is a plus

Responsibilities

• You will work as a student intern in fast-paced research projects and apply software engineering principles and concepts to help create new and innovative research prototypes
• This internship gives you the unique opportunity to work on both research - developing novel Machine Learning models, and production - deploying said models for large-scale commercial use
• Your work in this internship will directly impact the millions of people currently using SAP solutions.
