Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking an Observability Engineer to build and operate capabilities for the SSOE platform for MOE GovTech. You will define instrumentation standards, dashboards, and alerting, spanning on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in observability/SRE, strong IaC discipline, and hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry and monitoring stacks. Hybrid work models encouraged.

Qualifications

3–5 years in observability/SRE/platform engineering.
Hands-on production experience with metrics, logs, traces, dashboards.
Experience in on-premise and cloud/hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

Design and operate end-to-end observability across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid systems.
Define SLIs/SLOs and alerting to improve reliability.
Develop dashboards for infrastructure and application performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed observability.
Support incident investigation and post-incident reviews.
Ensure telemetry security and data residency requirements.
