Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced engineer to own the end-to-end security and observability stack for a container-based private cloud platform. You will drive evaluation, design, and production deployment across telemetry, vulnerability management, and incident response.

The role spans architectural research, tool selection, and cross-team collaboration with platform engineering, security operations, and SRE to deliver a unified telemetry-first architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform engineering, SRE, or security engineering roles.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and experience with Kubernetes or equivalent orchestration.
• Experience with SIEM operations, detection engineering, and log analytics.
• Ability to evaluate open-source projects for governance health and production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end evaluation, design, and implementation of security and observability solutions for a container-based private cloud platform.
• Lead architectural research, tool selection, and deployment of unified telemetry and security monitoring.
• Design and operate CI pipeline security scanning and image registry security.
• Develop detection rules, alerting, and automation playbooks; collaborate with SRE and security operations.
