Job summary

Activate Interactive Singapore is seeking an Observability Engineer to build and operate the observability capabilities for MOE's SSOE platform. You will define instrumentation standards, establish SLIs/SLOs, and work across on‑premises and cloud environments.

You will collaborate with application, infrastructure, network, security, and platform teams to ensure telemetry is integrated from the start and remains secure and auditable throughout the service lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of observability/SRE or related engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with production observability, monitoring, dashboards, and incident troubleshooting.
• Experience in on‑premises and cloud environments, with hybrid architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end observability across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Collect and correlate metrics, logs, traces, and events across services.
• Define instrumentation standards and alerting strategies for reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed telemetry from the outset.
