Job summary

Thales in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Data Infrastructure / Platform Engineer to build and operate a scalable, secure data platform. You’ll work across cloud, Kubernetes, IaC and modern data platforms to turn infrastructure into a self-service platform for developers and data teams.

You will design/in operate Kubernetes platforms, implement security and governance, and help drive platform upgrades and automation while enabling self-service data provisioning.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps or Data Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience, including production/stateful systems.
• Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu and GitOps (Argo CD/FluxCD).
• Experience operating Kafka, Iceberg/Trino/Spark or Airflow.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, cloud-native security and Linux.
• Proficiency in Python and either Go or Bash.
• Experience with Azure is a strong advantage.

You’ll work across Cloud, Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code and modern Data Platforms, turning infrastructure into a self-service platform that developers and data teams can rely on.

What we’re looking for:
