THALES SOLUTIONS ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Data Infrastructure / Platform Engineer in Singapore to build a scalable, secure data platform.

You’ll work across Cloud, Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code and modern data platforms, turning infrastructure into a self-service platform for developers and data teams. You will design and operate production Kubernetes platforms, deploy data services such as Kafka, Iceberg, Trino, Airflow and PostgreSQL, and drive security, observability and

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps or Data Platform Engineering.
Hands-on Kubernetes experience with production/stateful systems.
Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu and GitOps (Argo CD/FluxCD).
Experience operating Kafka, Iceberg/Trino/Spark or Airflow.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD, cloud-native security and Linux.

Responsibilities

Build scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform and GitOps.
Design and operate production Kubernetes platforms and distributed systems.
Build and manage data services including Kafka, Iceberg/Trino/Spark or Airflow and PostgreSQL.
Develop self-service capabilities for data services provisioning.
Implement security, governance, RBAC, observability and FinOps across the platform.
Define SLOs, improve reliability and lead incident resolution.
Drive platform upgrades, automation and continuous improvement.
