Job summary

ASM is seeking a Data Governance/Data Management Analyst to support its Data Strategy across enterprise systems. The role partners with data owners and tech teams to enforce policies, monitor quality, and maintain governance frameworks.

You will contribute to trusted analytics, AI initiatives, and data stewardship within the Global Operations function. Responsibilities include developing data quality measures, reporting, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to drive governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative/STEM field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Governance/Analytics/Data SME roles.
• Experience in Data Governance Project Management in High Tech Manufacturing (Preferred)
• Familiarity with DAMA principles; CDMP is a plus.
• Experience with SQL and Python for data validation.
• Experience with S/4 HANA and Databricks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continual improvement of the Data Governance Framework.
• Maintain Data Governance documentation including policies, standards, definitions, and procedures.
• Collaborate with Data Owners to enforce governance rules across Global Operations.
• Develop, monitor, and report on data quality KPIs and scorecards.
• Identify data quality issues, perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations.
• Lead exploration for Enterprise Data Catalog development using tools.
• Partner with business teams to understand data quality needs and governance pain points.
• Drive Data Governance Council meetings.
